The great leap backwards

I thought the Labor Party was a party of progress, of reform. Is this what the Labor Party does now when it encounters the slightest resistance? The merest whiff of grapeshot? Who are these mythical people, who think Kevin Rudd isn't left-wing enough for them, but Abbott's just their brand of vodka?
This is stupidity of the worst kind. In a civilized society, the plotters would not be rewarded with ministries but be burnt at the stake. This Labor Government had an agenda, a hard agenda to prosecute. The detritus of 11 years of Liberal Government is no small thing to sweep away, to be dismissed with a flick of the wrist and a clever talking point or four.
