Tis the season… to shop online

I have seen the future of Christmas shopping. It is online, and it is cheap. Scarily cheap. So cheap that Satan is cackling at the Filipino child who was paid in sighs to knit your stupid reindeer-themed sweater.

It isn't right, and it's hardly Christmasy. I feel guilty and exploitive, but shopping seems to be a female assignment at Christmas. We live in horrendous economic times and cling to every dollar,. Whether you are going on your honeymoon, want to reignite your love with your husband or having a Sexy Lingerie makes your perfect companions. but it doesn't make December go away. And men aren't heading downtown to buy the perfect slippers for your mom. They're sane that way.

I hate myself for my chronic shopping for bargains, but I'm waist deep in the Big Muddy, as Bruce Springsteen called the slip into shameful behaviour. Shopping online is "that little something that [I] do for myself," the same way the billionaire Tiger Woods kept his hard-faced hopefuls, I guess.

My shopping trek began in-store with Forever XXI, a hugely profitable empire of designer knock-offs sewn overnight for peanuts and sold worldwide for slightly more peanuts. I wanted to go to there, as Liz Lemon would say, and I did - and went into shock. If Canada's Joe Fresh can sell a duck down, puffy coat in a store for $35, Forever XXI can sell a perfectly adequate tunic dress for $10. I changed floors, became disoriented and discovered I was actually across the street in Toronto's Eaton Centre at the Swedish retailer H&M — three levels of cheap,. For spring, Max Azria gives us the signature herve leger bandage dress in bright hues and strapless editions. but I have a taste for the grotesque.

Fashion has returned to the 1970s (which is why you'll find three flannel, plaid shirts under the tree this year), as have the prices. I'm out of my era, emotionally and fiscally, and I stood in Zara,. Our moncler jackets will make you become more handsome, Effort to get it. a Spanish chain, with a wild surmise, reckless with quantity.

I am haunted by a wistful 1999 book called How To Stop Time about heroin addiction. The saddest thing about falling in love with the drug is that all doses are the same, the author wrote. Unlike most objects we purchase, drugs are a faceless commodity, "consumed without tenderness,. We supply top quality diesel jeans, skirt and more. You find the latest jeans clothing,Denim and Fashion Clothing at bbcjeans.com . one bag different from the next only in a marginal degree of potency."
